Hello, my name is Eugene Phillips.

I am a 24-year-old musician who makes dance, pop, techno and electronic music and arrangements.

I make music on a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software called Logic Pro X.

This is where I create the music you will see on this site.

I also run my YouTube channel, where music is uploaded regularly. In addition, I run a collaboration Instagram page called MX Heartstone, where we embrace people’s thoughts and let them speak out.

In the future, I look forward to doing projects and working with collaborators and paid work. I also do some website design for local community organisations.

Eugene has been a great volunteer at my live events, consistently engaging with attendees and asking insightful questions. Their curiosity and proactive attitude have greatly supported the running of my events. Additionally, as a talented drummer, he was able to assist and shadow in a drum tech role, supporting our stage crew with changeovers and setting up artists. Eugene has brought a vibrant energy to my events and I am grateful for his invaluable contribution. - Amie Chatterley, Director of CapsaArx Studios

My Story

While only a newcomer to the music scene, Eugene Phillips has always been known to be a creator at heart.

He has performed at numerous places and events such as: the BBC Introducing Live, The Deep End, Mid Kent College's Music Reformed, Black History Month and much more. Eugene has invested his love of music with the creative use of vocal loops and instrumental tracks to form his unique style; equipped with a screen and a blank template, he is able to showcase new approaches and his distinctive strategy to vocal loops and MIDI tracks.

In addition, Eugene is currently further developing his knowledge and range of skills by undertaking a course in Music Industry Practice. Eugene intends to become an established successful musician, be a part of the music industry, and progress in his skills and abilities within the creative workforce.
